COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
Canva Workshop: Level 1
Canva is the most widely used design tool for non-designers — used for social media graphics, presentations, flyers, CVs, marketing materials, and more. Level 1 introduces the platform: how to navigate it, use templates, add text and images, and create polished designs without any design background. Used by charities, businesses, schools, and individuals worldwide — this is a genuinely useful skill.
Canva Workshop: Level 2
Building on Level 1, this session covers more advanced Canva techniques: brand kits, custom templates, animation, presentation mode, and creating consistent visual content for social media or professional use. Ideal if you’ve already completed Level 1 or have some Canva experience.
Smartphone Photography: Level 1
The best camera is the one you have with you. This course teaches you how to use your smartphone camera properly — composition, lighting, focus, exposure, and the settings most people never touch. You will leave knowing how to take significantly better photographs with the phone you already own.
Smartphone Photography: Level 2
Editing, storytelling, and using your smartphone photography for real purposes — social media, portfolios, small business content, community documentation. Level 2 builds on the technical foundation from Level 1 and moves into creative and practical application.
Intro to Photography: Level 1
An introduction to photography as a craft — composition, light, subject, and the visual language that makes a photograph work. This course is camera-agnostic: it is about how to see and think photographically, using whatever equipment you have.
Intro to Photography: Level 2
Developing a photographic eye and a more intentional practice. Level 2 explores documentary and storytelling approaches, editing workflows, and how to use photography as a genuine creative and professional tool.
Content Creation Workshop
Content creation is how individuals, businesses, and organisations communicate online. This course covers the fundamentals: understanding your audience, planning content, writing for social media, combining text with visuals, and building a consistent presence without burning out. Practical from start to finish, with tools and templates you can use immediately.
