Digital Inclusion.

Bridging the Digital Divide. Empowering Communities.

In today’s world, being online isn’t optional—it’s essential. From applying for jobs to accessing healthcare, education, and benefits, digital skills are a vital part of everyday life. Yet millions across the UK still face digital exclusion due to lack of access, confidence, or support.

At WO Consultancy, we’re tackling this head-on through our Digital Inclusion programme—a series of hands-on workshops, 1:1 support, and community-led sessions that empower people to get confident and connected.

What We Offer

Basic Digital Skills Training
For anyone who’s new to using a computer, smartphone or the internet. We break it down in plain language and build confidence step by step.

Internet Safety & Online Confidence
Learn how to stay safe online, avoid scams, manage passwords, and use email and social media responsibly.

Access to Devices & Wi-Fi
We work with partners to help residents access laptops, tablets, or mobile data—so they can stay connected at home and on the go.

Practical Support
We offer help with:

  • Setting up and using email

  • Accessing Universal Credit and online journals

  • Filling in job applications online

  • Booking GP appointments or NHS services

  • Using video calls (Zoom, Teams, FaceTime)

  • Managing digital accounts and passwords

Digital Inclusion Drop-ins
We run regular pop-up tech support sessions in libraries, community centres, and Job Clubs—making sure support is available where people already are.

Workshops for Parents & Carers
From understanding your child’s online world to setting up parental controls, we support families to feel more confident and informed.

Why It Matters

According to the Good Things Foundation, over 11 million people in the UK lack basic digital skills—and this digital gap worsens inequalities in employment, education, health, and access to services.

People who are digitally excluded are:

  • Less likely to find work

  • At greater risk of financial hardship

  • More vulnerable to online scams

  • More isolated and less able to access support

Our Digital Inclusion work is about more than just skills—it’s about opportunity, confidence, and connection.

Who It’s For

  • Adults with little or no digital experience

  • Older residents wanting to build confidence

  • Job seekers needing help with online applications

  • Parents navigating school apps and e-safety

  • Anyone who wants to feel more confident using digital tools

No question is too small. No one is left behind.
